The price of shoe addiction

I found the cutest pair of peep toes and just had to have them to show off my hot toe nails... flame hot... yes when it comes to my nails I'm a total dutchman, West Rand all the way baybee!! *lifts her arms in a gangsta pose and holds 3 fingers up on each hand in a W*

I showed off the shoes and nails at a photoshoot open day - a bunch of photographers got together at a new studio to shoot some models.

Once I was done with makeup I trotted up and down making sure my pretties were seen. I even sat at a glass table so I could admire them inbetween sips. Obsessed.

I had worn the shoes earlier in the day and they were a bit too big, but that wasn't going to stop me, I just slipped some gel heel liners in them and was good to go. So apparently vanity is a sin and was punishable by locusts or something in the old days. I was at the shoot and had no clue a locust storm was heading my way. Someone spotted something on the floor....(bottom right)

Someone: "What is that?"
*GASP!*

Mike loves me

I love being loved. The greatest compliment for me is when people I have worked with want to work with me again.

I did a shoot with Mike Mullane and had a blast! He has a great sense of humour, fab Irish accent and the funkiest shoes I have ever seen on a tog!


Mike really is great fun, he let us drink wine and play loud music. And he indulged the clown in me by letting me try take a pic of him running and jumping in the air... my phone's camera is a bit slow so Mike had to jump many times in the hopes that I would get the mid air shot. He jumped many, many times. I didn't get the shot but had a good laugh trying to get it!




I also got an awesome arty shot of Mike while he was shooting, yip I have skills.


I got this message from Mike today:
Hi Stavvie,
hope all is well.. looking forward to working with you again so much for Michelle's shoot... We really missed you at last weekends shoot with Ashley, your energy,mischief and freakin awesome makeup skills as well as the support and encouragement fuelled by several bottles of grape origin... :D
I have a shoot on the 13th of November at the same studio and would really really love you to come and play, work, be you...

TFS - Time For Shoes!

In order to build up my portfolio I have done countless TFCD shoots (you exchange your Time for a CD with the photos - no one makes money out of the deal but they all get photos to add to their portfolio). On one of the TFCD shoots I went to the model was given a sparkly gold pair of sandals to wear, in my size! I gushed and gawked so much about the shoes that the photographer eventually gave them to me. I will work for shoes!
